For those wishing to stay at the conference hotel, a limited number of hotel rooms have been blocked.  These will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis up until 15 June 2018.  After this date, all remaining rooms will be released.

A special conference rate has been negotiated as follows:

Traditional room (single/double):            $189CAD
Deluxe room (single/double):                   $244CAD
Suites (single/double):                               $319CAD and up
Additional person:                                     $40CAD

Rates do not include applicable provincial and local taxes (currently 13% and a 3% Destination Marketing Fee).  For those who wish to extend their stay in Canada’s Capital, the special conference rate is in effect from July 14th, 2018 to July 21st, 2018.

Visa requirements

Visa-exempt foreign nationals need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to fly to or transit through Canada. Weather
Ottawa has a humid continental climate.  Summers are generally warm and humid, with an average July maximum temperature of 26.6 °C (80 °F) and lows of around 15°C (59°F).   Given the risk of rainfall during July, participants are advised to bring raincoats and/or umbrella’s
