The webinar will focus on the conclusions of the FORATOM Investment Framework Task Force (IFTF) that highlighted some key principles for financing nuclear new build. The webinar objective is to make investors and policy makers aware of some of the challenges that confront investors and project developers when financing new nuclear, a long-term investment that can help achieve climate neutrality goals at affordable costs. The experiences from a selection of some recent financing schemes will be brought to the panel discussion. The benefits that a risk allocation framework may bring to public – private arrangements will be highlighted, together with a view on how non-financial perspectives can be addressed in the future.
